History

2005

The idea for Climate Bridge came to Cameron Hepburn and Alex Wyatt while climbing the Great Wall of China. The company's name reflects the idea of connecting East and West to create a green future.

2006

With the mission of building a bridge between the East and the West for low-carbon business, starting from the international voluntary emission reduction market, Environmental Bridge Co., Ltd. was established.

2007

As a pioneer in the domestic voluntary carbon emission reduction trading market, the first voluntary carbon emission reduction wind power project was signed in Kangbao.

2008

Planned and completed China's first carbon-neutral hotel--UNBN Hotel.

2010

Provide high-quality carbon emission offsetting services for the Shanghai World Expo.

2012

Successfully registered more than 100 CDM projects, ranking among the top 15 in the global carbon market.

2013

With the launch of China's carbon trading pilot market, Climate Bridge shifted its business to China's carbon market.

2014

Rapidly expansed CCER projects with a high success rate.

2015

Reached CCER transactions with Aijian Trust, Waigaoqiao Power Plant, Shell and other institutions, and is one of the earliest institutions in China to carry out CCER transactions and replacement business.

2016

Carried out the International Green Electricity Certificate (IREC) project; launched the "Yunxin Green Jiayuan No. 1 Collective Fund Trust Plan" with Guotai Junan and Yunnan Trust; won the first Green Carbon Award - Best Carbon Trading Practice Award.

2017

Carried out carbon emission quota custody business with Fujian Sangang (Group) Co., Ltd. and other companies, and was awarded as an outstanding member of Beijing Environment Exchange and Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange.

2018

Assist Qinghai Provincial Forestry and Grassland Bureau to complete the baseline survey of Qinghai Huangshui Large-scale Forest Farm Carbon Sequestration Project; Carried out carbon emission verification business in Ningxia, Shanxi, Anhui, Guangdong, Inner Mongolia and other provinces, and was awarded the Excellent Verification Organization of Guangdong Province.

2019

Successfully registered the largest forestry carbon sequestration project in Qinghai Province, and realized the first transaction in 2020.

2020

Climate Bridge (Shanghai) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Shell (China) Co., Ltd. establish a joint venture - Climate Bridge (Shanghai) Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.

2021

Successfully registered and issued the first domestic blue carbon project - Zhanjiang mangrove project, and the first forestry carbon sink project in Gansu Province - Zhangye carbon sink afforestation project.

2022

Built the nation's first carbon neutral factory in the field of consumer healthcare; successfully registered and issued the nation's first carbon emission reduction project for plastics recycling and the nation's first methane recovery project for power generation at a kitchen waste treatment plant under the VCS mechanism.

2023-Now

Developed an internationally recognized Hydrogen Vehicle Methodology and applied it to the development of CDM/VCS emission reduction projects for hydrogen vehicles; Successfully registered and issued the world's first GCC project; Built the world's first Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit "Zero-Carbon Factory" and the world's first "Whole-Chain Zero-Carbon" battery recycling enterprise.

林克明

15年碳排放领域工作经验，熟悉CDM、CCER、VCS、GCC、GCC等国内外碳减排机制法律法规、政策标准、技术规范；负责过百余个CDM / VCS / GCC / CCER项目开发与七十多个项目复审。

Dr. Sven

外部专家，博士毕业于卡塞尔大学，获博士学位，目前为欧盟碳市场知名审核机构Verico SCE的负责人，ISO标准委员会SC207“温室气体管理”委员。罗森海姆应用技术大学助理教授。

董事长，英国牛津大学MBA毕业，环保桥创始人之一。在创立环保桥前拥有近20年的国家事业单位、大型国企和外企管理经验。自2006年创立公司后，带领环保桥创造了多个业内第一。

高志文

环保桥总经理、长江商学院MNA硕士。14年碳减排相关方法学和项目开发管理经验，在全球自愿减排交易市场、欧盟、中国碳交易市场、绿色电力交易等方面均有丰富的市场研究与交易经验。

长江商学院MBA毕业，2007年毕业加入环保桥后逐步从技术开发人员成长为公司核心管理人员，拥有近14年的低碳行业从业经验；熟悉低碳行业各方面的政策和信息，拥有丰富的市场和技术实操经验，是碳圈的标志性人物之一。
