The project started construction on October 12, 2017, with the aim of using anaerobic digesters to treat municipal solid waste (MSW) and generate electricity from recycled biogas. The project includes MSW collection, MSW pre-treatment system, biodiesel production system, anaerobic digester biogas purification, power generation system, and waste heat recovery.
The fresh waste of the project mainly includes kitchen and catering waste in Guangzhou, and the biogas generated from anaerobic digestion will be used for internal combustion engine power generation.
