Sinopec Senmei (Fujian) Petroleum Co., Ltd. was established with investment from China National Petroleum and Chemical Corporation, ExxonMobil Sinopec Co., Ltd., and Saudi Aramco China Limited, with a registered capital of 1.84 billion yuan. It was registered on March 28, 2007 and officially put into commercial operation on July 24, 2007.
Sinopec Senmei (Fujian) Petroleum Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Fuzhou and has branches in 9 cities in Fujian Province, mainly engaged in the wholesale, retail, warehousing, transit, and transportation of finished oil, lubricants, and other petroleum products; Operating gas, gas station affiliated convenience stores, car washing, lubricating oil replacement, catering, and other supporting services. At present, the company operates and manages over 1000 gas stations and 10 oil depots, employing nearly 10000 people.
As one of the main developers and suppliers of green power certificates in China, Climate Bridge has helped Sinopec Senmei (Fujian) Petroleum Co., Ltd. achieve its goal of net-zero Scope 2 (electricity) emissions for its Shanghai facility by providing the International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-REC).
