·  Compared to passengers using private cars, taxis, buses, and other non motorized modes of transportation, the implementation of this project will reduce CO₂ and the emission of other atmospheric pollutants;

·  Relieve the road traffic pressure on passengers plays an important role in improving the structure of the passenger rail network and maximizing the benefits of the rail transit network;

·  In the initial stage, it will promote the development of Lanzhou New Area, and in the long term, it will provide fast, convenient, and high-capacity transportation connections for the Hexi region to meet the passenger transport needs of different levels within the corridor, thereby promoting the economic development of the areas along the line and even the entire western region.
